What is FONBS?
We are a group of parents who all give our time on a voluntary basis to organise and run fundraising (and hopefully fun!) activities for those in our school community. Our aim is to use the funds we raise to provide ‘extras’ for the school. On an annual basis, we provide funding towards the Pantomime trip, a Spring Term gift, 100% attendance awards and pay for the Year 6 reward trip before they move to secondary school. In addition, the school gives us a ‘wish list’ of items they feel would be of benefit. For example, last year we bought desks/table coverings.
Our main fundraisers of the year are the Summer and Christmas Fayres – they both take place on a Thursday afternoon towards the end of the Summer and Autumn terms. Other events through the year can include an Autumn disco, Mother’s/Father’s Day sales, non-uniform days and the ever-popular cake sales. Other ways to fundraise
Please encourage family and friends to come along to our events and donate items for our fairs so that we can raise more money for FONBS, in order to benefit our school.

If you would like to find out more about what we do, become involved in FONBS, either as a committee member, volunteer at events or even as an officer, you’re welcome to come along to one of the FONBS meetings (look out for our newsletters or check the notice board for the date of the meetings). It’s a great way to be part of school life!
