Lee Chapel Police Rally
Year 6 and Year 5 took part in an outstanding netball tournament on Saturday 14th May 2016 at Lee Chapel Primary School.
Year 5 started at 8:30 (in the morning!) and performed an amazing achievement by winning 3 matches! Unfortunately they lost in the semi final; however they played magnificently throughout their tournament. Some of the Year 5 team were then lucky enough to take part in the Year 6 competition which started at 12:30.
Year 6 – were in a tough group and managed to win against Lee Chapel Black1, who are brilliant netball players, and were overwhelmed when they won. Unfortunately Year 6 then played against two other teams; Bardfield: the score was 5-1 whereas the Lee Chapel Black2 team scored 5 goals and we scored 0.
All of the outstanding work finally paid off at the end of the day when all players were awarded a medal and received a certificate for participating in the Lee Chapel Police Rally. However, the winning team received a World Cup Trophy and Plaque mounted on a wooden shield.
We played incredibly well in the tournament, we tried our best and never gave up. It was an enjoyable experience and everyone (who took part) had fun.
