Leeds Castle Trip

The Year 3/4 trip was a great success and we all had a brilliant time! We had very knowledgeable guides who gave us lots of information.

Firstly, we took part in a workshop called from Cave to Castle. We all got to dress up as lots of different characters such as Romans and people from the Stone Age. Even the teachers dressed up! Then we learnt about different artefacts from those periods and how the people lived. Some of us had speaking parts and did a great job.

Then, we also had a guided tour around the castle. This gave us chance to look at rooms that had been recreated to show what it would have been like in different time periods such as when Henry 8th owned the castle.

Finally, we made a stop at the gift shop and then set off back to school.

Overall, a fantastic trip!
