Our School Day

Our School Day

Classroom doors open at 8:40am.

Our school day starts at 8:50am and ends at 3:20pm (total hours per week 32.5)

Registration is from 8:40am to 8:50am.

We have daily assemblies within class.

Friday - Whole School Celebration Assembly.

Drop Off and Collection

At 8:40am the main gates are open, parents take their children to the classroom door and children enter the classroom. They come into the classroom and settle quickly to their early morning work. At the end of the day parents gather on the playground to meet their children as they leave their classrooms. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school. If normal arrangements have to be altered (eg; you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know via email or phoning the school office ASAP to avoid any confusion or upset - for safeguarding reasons we will not release children to any other adults not on our 'agreement' list, without parental consent.

Getting to School

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely and be considerate of our local community.
