Design & Technology Project

During this academic year, children from year 2 and year 6 took part in a Design and Technology project hosted by Ford Dunton. The children were challenged to design and make a moving vehicle with a specific design criterion. Children in year 2 made a moving fire truck linked in with their ‘Great Fire of London’ topic and year 6 had the challenge of including
electrical components so that their vehicle could be moved by a control switch. A group of children were selected to return to Ford to test their vehicles against competing schools and year 2 were incredibly fortunate to receive a trophy for 2nd^d prize for their fire truck vehicle.
