Finishing off a busy week of sport, we held our annual Sports Day activities on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th July. In an attempt to raise participation levels while still keeping a competitive edge, the format included field events for all children over the mornings leading up to Sports Day and then an exciting and relay heavy programme of track events on Sports Day afternoon. It was great to see all children getting involved, having fun and competing in a range of running, jumping and throwing. The scores from all track and field events across all year groups were totalled up and the results were as follows.
1st place - Blue (Euler)
2nd place - Yellow (Rowling)
3rd place - Red (Newton)
4th place - Green (Escher)
The afternoon was well attended for both KS1 and KS2 and it was great to see everyone there cheering on all of the children. Well done to all children involved and thank you to everyone who came along and supported the children.
